About Our Performances

Each year, KAIROS dance™ presents 15-20 performances featuring works from our repertoire, new work, and pieces created in collaboration with partners. We bring dance into the community, connecting with audiences in traditional venues and in spaces where dance is not usually found, such as parks, libraries, nursing homes, museums, festivals, conferences, and community centers.

Our unique vision of intergenerational dance has earned us invitations to perform at local and national events including the Minnesota Multiple Sclerosis Society Family Caregiver Appreciation Dinner, the National Conference on Arts & Aging, the Greater Harlem Nursing Home, the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance Conference, and the Creative Aging Conference. We have performed and celebrated with audiences at the Intermedia Arts, Southern Theater, Clara Barton Open School, Como Park Pavilion, Hennepin County Libraries, Lake Harriet Bandshell, Loring Park, Minnehaha Park, Landmark Center, Park Elder Center, and other places throughout the Twin Cities. All KAIROS dance™ performances are interactive and include an opportunity for audience members to join in and dance with us. Kairos has open rehearsals most Tuesday evenings at the Loring Park Community Center, located at 1382 Willow Street in Minneapolis. Guests are always welcome!

All performances are handicapped accessible.
